The team behind every overview.
The Research Desk is VANTA's in-house literature team. We compile each compound overview from peer-reviewed primary research, cite every source, and hold the line on research-use-only accuracy - so the reference material on this site can show its work the same way our certificates of analysis do.

A desk, not a marketing team.
The Research Desk is the group inside VANTA responsible for the written reference material - the compound overviews, the comparison articles, and the handling notes. It is a collective byline, not a single voice, and it exists to keep one standard across everything we publish.
We work the way a literature review should: start from the primary studies, summarize only what the data supports, and attach the citations so a researcher can verify any line for themselves. When the evidence is thin or mixed, we say so rather than paper over it.
What we will not do is dress research up as advice. VANTA is not a pharmacy and makes no medical claims. Everything the desk publishes is supplied strictly for laboratory research use only.
Four rules behind every article.
Primary literature only
Every overview is built from peer-reviewed studies indexed in PubMed and equivalent databases. We read the source, not the summary, and link the citation so it can be checked.
Cited, never claimed
If a statement about a compound cannot be tied to a published reference, it does not get printed. Each article carries its full reference list at the bottom.
Research-use-only discipline
We document what the literature reports in research models. We do not give doses, protocols, or medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic guidance. The material is for laboratory research use only.
Tied to the analytical data
Research notes sit alongside the same HPLC and mass-spec verification that backs each batch, so the literature and the certificate of analysis tell one consistent story.
11 compound overviews and 5 head-to-head comparisons.
Each entry walks the published research on a compound - mechanism, what the studies measured, and how it compares to its alternatives - with the full reference list attached. Browse the library to read them.
Read the research, then read the certificate.
Every overview links back to the product and its Certificate of Analysis. The literature and the lab data are meant to be read together.
